We are a collection of cyclists from various backgrounds and skill levels that organize fun group rides open to everyone, and support events and activities that encourage cycling.

Safety comes first on our rides, no one gets dropped, left behind, or left out. We also recognize that we participate in cycling activities of our own accord and assume responsibility for our own safety and health.

  • Enjoyment

    • The Adirondack Foothills Cycling Club is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote fun, fitness, and health through the sport of cycling to athletes of all ages and abilities in Northern New York.

  • Training

    • It is our effort to promote camaraderie among the membership and develop a competitive spirit that enhances fitness and cycling skills through the promotion of timed bicycle riding, racing, and training events

  • Education

    • The Adirondack Cycling Club will model and teach cycling safety, simple bike repair, and correct cycling etiquette, methodology, and techniques.

  • Advocacy

    • Create awareness and educate the public, elected officials, local decision-makers, and business owners about the benefits cycling has on the community.  Health, environmental responsibility, and economic inputs are a few of these benefits.
